UNLV and BYU get first and second place finishes respectively. What! Yep, and it’s hard to believe what a difference in a year makes. Sure, UNLV won last year, but that was last year. SDSU returns everyone and will be the formidable force in the MWC this year. I have trouble contemplating SDSU not winning the MWC; however, the “preseason poll” suggests otherwise. Well, take that poll for a grain of salt; 95 percent of the time these egregious polls are wrong due to their woefully inadequate assessment of a team’s true capabilities and returning talent.
