Former Trojan Baxter headed to SDSU?

Former USC running back Dillon Baxter appears to be headed to San Diego State, according to several reports. Baxter announced in November he was leaving and is apparently waiting on some paperwork details to make the move to SDSU complete. Baxter’s arrival, presuming everything goes okay, is an interesting development considering star RB Ronnie Hillman announced he is leaving the Aztecs for the NFL.

Baxter could get a shot to be a lead back fairly soon. Although he has indicated that he would like to play wide receiver. Lets hope this report is accurate. As the article indicated, it is ironic and coincidental timing with Hillman leaving that this report surfaces about Dillon Baxtor. I also have to believe that SDSU moving to the Big East had some influence on Baxtor’s decision; assuming this report is true.
